2018 EDITION

​The SoccerStarz 2018 Edition Foil Bag saw an increase in the amount of figures included, with there being 45 different figures, giving collectors even more SoccerStarz figurines to collect!

 

There are 39 figures in Home kit,  5 of which were Manchester United figures in their own Manchester United Foil Bag, 1 manager and the other 5 are Away kit chasers exclusive to the 2018 Edition Foil Bag!

It is not only the amount of figures which changed for this version of the foil bag, so have the base colours, with SoccerStarz introducing 2 brand new colours to the range, those being Hot Pink and Mint Green!

 

The 4 base colours used for the SoccerStarz 2018 Edition Foil Bag are:

• Mint Green

• Yellow

• Gold

 

As for the figures themselves, the 2018 Edition Foil Bag features no fewer than 16 new sculpts!

 

Arsenals emerging talent Alex Iwobi is sculpted for the first time and is joined by team mates Petr Cech, Nacho Monreal and Laurent Koscielny.

 

Champions Chelsea had 6 figures included, which featured the highly anticipated release of the passionate Chelsea manager Antonio Conte, joined by another first time sculpt in Marcos Alonso, with Thibaut Courtois, Eden Hazard, Victor Moses and N'Golo Kante completing the Chelsea line up.

 

Everton had 2 figures in Classic kit, those being Idrissa Gueye and Morgan Schneiderlin. Merseyside rivals Liverpool had double that with 4, team captain Jordan Henderson and forward Sadio Mane are joined by first time sculpt of Dutchman Georginio Wijnaldum and a new sculpt of Philippe Coutinho, with this new version of the Brazilian being far superior to the original.

 

Manchester City have 2 figures included, a new sculpt of Gabriel Jesus is joined by influential midfielder Kevin De Bruyne, while the red half of Manchester has 5 figures, including 1 new sculpt, that of central defender Eric Bailly, who is joined by Phil Jones, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Ander Herrera and Paul Pogba.

 

Newcastle United gained promotion back to the Premier League and what better way to celebrate than with a first time sculpt of defender Jamaal Lascelles. Stoke City have 2 figures in classic kit, Peter Crouch and Saido Berahino finally gets a release after his West Bromwich Albion figure was cancelled previously, so collectors were thrilled to finally get a SoccerStarz figurine of Berahino.

 

The lone figure for Tottenham Hotspur is that of Ben Davies in Classic kit with AIA sponsor, while West Bromwich Albion have the new sculpt of Jake Livermore, and West Ham United have Robert Snodgrass and an all new sculpt in Manuel Lanzini, both in Classic Hammers kit.

 

La Liga is very well represented, with Atletico Madrid having 2 new sculpts feature in the 2018 Edition Foil Bag, those being Stefan Savic and Kevin Gameiro, both in Classic Atletico Madrid kit but with the new club badge on.

 

The other half of Madrid have double the amount of figures released, 4 in total and like Atletico, Real Madrid also have 2 new sculpts. The 2 new Real Madrid sculpts are Casemiro and Alvaro Morata, who are joined by Marcelo and Cristiano Ronaldo.

 

Barcelona have a trio of home kit figures inside the Foil Bag, one of which is first time sculpt of Samuel Umtiti, who is accompanied by Gerard Pique and Lionel Messi.

 

Completing the home kit figures is the solitary representative of France's Ligue 1, Paris Saint-Germain's German international Julian Draxler, who gets his first ever club released after being released in national colours as part of the 2014 World Cup collection.

 

The SoccerStarz 2018 Edition Foil Bag features 5 away kit chaser figures, which are exclusive to the foil bag and not released on any other format. The 5 Away kit SoccerStarz are Dele Alli for Tottenham Hotspur, Luis Suarez and Neymar Jr for Barcelona, Sergio Ramos and Gareth Bale for Real Madrid.

 

45 SoccerStarz figures in the range and 4 base colours to collect, making a total of 180 different SoccerStarz figures available inside the Foil Bag 2018 Edition, there really was something for every collector.

 

The figures were distributed inside an 18 piece CDU with their typically being 2 or 3 Manchester United bags per CDU, with each foil bag having a RRP of £1.99
